Millhillians Thrive on the Tennis Court!

Congratulations to Tennis stars Kim (Lower Sixth, Murray) and Max (Remove, Murray) for their recent victories on the court over the half term break!

Senior pupil and Tennis Captain, Kim (pictured in first image), travelled to Finland to play in an International Tennis Federation event. He successfully won two qualifying rounds and won a match against the third best player at the event! Ultimately Kim lost a very challenging final round. This was an amazing experience and achievement for Kim and his success did not stop there. As a member of Totteridge Tennis Club, he won the Men’s Doubles and reached the semi-finals of the U18’s and Men’s Singles at the Totteridge Grade 3 event. Furthermore, he recently partnered Miss Kleimberg (pictured in first image)in a Mixed League Game, making a formidable pairing, and securing a further victory.

Meanwhile, lower School pupil Max (pictured in second image), has competed in a Grade 3 event at Woodford Wells Tennis Club, Essex. After some tough matches and a very high standard of play, he won the U16 Boys Singles and was a runner-up in the Doubles.

We are extremely pleased for both pupils on these fantastic tennis achievements and we know they will continue to go from strength to strength.
