Our pupils have been very succesfull outside of the classroom this week. Keep on reading to find out what they have been up to!
Maxwell (6LT)
Maxwell’s short story ‘A Deadly Rattle’ was entered in a Young Writers creative writing competition, which asked children to write a story with a twist. We are delighted to announce that Maxwell’s story entitled ‘A Deadly Rattle’ has been chosen to be published in a book called ‘A Twist In The Tale – Marvellous Myths’. The book showcases young writers’ work and will remain in the national archives of the British Library forever which is incredible!
Everyone at Belmont is incredibly proud of this achievement and Maxwell’s love and talent in English and creative writing.
Noah (7FH)
Noah (7FH) has been selected to play in the Under 12 London Schools Winter Cricket Squad. Matches start in late March, and by coincidence, the squad will be training every Sunday at Mill Hill School. Being selected to play county-level cricket is a massive achievement – well done Noah!
