This week, Year 5 went to the Imperial War Museum. The children explored it’s amazing WW2 Galleries, where they encountered artefacts, photographs and personal stories that vividly depicted the challenges faced by soldiers and civilians during the war. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the chance to speak with war veterans, they generously shared their experiences, answering questions and providing firsthand accounts of life during wartime. The pupils listened in awe, gaining insights that no textbook could convey.
