The Inter-House Swimming Gala on Thursday 30 January was a thrilling event with School House narrowly defeating the reigning champions, Atkinson.

All 12 Houses competed, with Mill Hill International’s Oak House joining the Boarding Houses, showcasing impressive talent and House spirit. The competition was fierce, with every race contributing to the overall excitement. In the end, the pupils were buzzing with energy and pride, celebrating their hard-fought victories. It was a memorable event for everyone involved, highlighting the comradery of the House system and School community.

Director of Sport, Aaron Liffchak reflected on the competition: "We are thrilled to celebrate the success of the recent Inter-House Swimming Event. A heartfelt thank you to Ms Wong and Mr Bajak, as well as all the staff who worked tirelessly to bring this event to life, and to the enthusiastic crowds who cheered on our swimmers from outside the pool. We are incredibly fortunate to have our own indoor 25m swimming pool, which allows us to host such wonderful events. It's inspiring to see the strong culture within our school, where pupils are eager to represent their houses."

Looking ahead to next term, "We eagerly anticipate the remainder of the inter-house competitions, including the Five and Ten Mile Cup." This year, we have added an extra girl to each team, making the competition even more exciting and, subsequently renamed the 6/10 Mile Cup.
