Our programme offers a unique opportunity for young athletes to receive top-quality coaching from experienced professionals. Our full-time coaches include professional players and coaches from top-level clubs such as Saracens Rugby, London Mavericks Netball, Tottenham Hotspur Premiership Academy, India Hockey, PGA Advanced Golf and many more. We also have a full-time Sports Therapist and Head of Athletic Development to provide a comprehensive approach to training.
Mr Aaron Liffchak

Mr Liffchak is a former professional rugby player who has played for Saracens, London Welsh, and London Scottish. Bringing his extensive experience and passion for sport to Mill Hill School, Mr Liffchak has been instrumental in developing and enhancing our sports programme.
As the Director of Sport, Mr Liffchak is committed to equipping Millhillians for a healthy life now and into the future. His dual-stream approach, encouraging pupils to ‘find their fit’ through 'Fit for Performance' and 'Fit for Life' ensures that every pupil can achieve their personal best.
Under his leadership, Mill Hill School has built a nationally recognised sports scholarship programme and formed significant partnerships with several world-class sports clubs, including, most recently, Saracens RFC. These collaborations provide our pupils with exceptional opportunities to excel across a multitude of sports.
Ms Imogen Wong
Head of Games & Activities Co-ordinator

Ms Wong started out playing Netball, before finding her love for Ultimate Frisbee at University. Since taking up the sport, Ms Wong has competed in the U24 GB Mixed Team at the World Championships in 2019. She also plays for Reading Ultimate and has represented them at regional, national and international levels. She won Silver in 2022 and Bronze in 2023 at the Club European Championships, as well as coming 8th in the Club World Championships in Cincinnati in 2022.
As Head of Games, Ms Wong aims to create an inclusive Games programme which encourages both high performance and life long participation.
Mr Chris Bajak
Head of Performance Rugby and Saracens Partnership Coordinator

Mr Bajak's main passion is Rugby, and he has worked for Saracens as an academy coach for the last 15 years, mainly with the U15-17 age groups. He is an ex-professional rugby player who spent most of his career on the wing/centre, and has twice been recognised as the country's top try scorer.
He is currently the English School's County team manager for athletics and has won the National Final and been to the World School Finals twice in previous years. He also holds a dual role with Saracens and the School, coaching and promoting both.
Mr Jamie Diamond
Head of Cricket

Mr Diamond has a wealth of cricket coaching experience. Over the last seven years, he has been part of Gloucestershire CCC in a variety of different capacities, including the Women's and U18s Head Coach and the boys' Performance Coach which supported age groups through to the 1st XI. He also had a professional role at Cheltenham College and has had experience in being an overseas player-coach for Kampong CC. Mr Diamond's record doesn't end there, as he also coached the Dutch National Women's team alongside the national age groups. Now, Mr Diamond is a player and head coach for Totteridge Millhillians CC 1st XI and assists Middlesex CCC as a coach.
Mr Dean Halford
Director of Golf

Mr Halford is a PGA Advanced Professional and a 12-time national champion winning coach. Outside of his work with Mill Hill, he is Director of Golf for Nike and previously worked with four professional golfers who have all been World #1. He has been a Golf professional for a handful of decades, with the opportunity to work on the European Tour, and further past experiences include being the former Head of the Lee Westwood Golf Academy in the UK and Europe, as well as the former Director of Golf at Millfield School.
Ms Amelia Hall
Head of Netball

Ms Hall has always loved Netball and was selected to go on two tours with England U19s and to participate in one Netball Europe competition with England U21s. She is a five times National Premier League winner and is currently playing in the Netball Super League. With four years under her belt, Ms Hall began her career in the Netball Super League through the Manchester Thunder pathway. She has since played for Leeds Rhinos, where she made her NSL debut and now plays for London Mavericks, supporting their campaign with her positional versatility and continuing her growth in the league.
Mr Rhett Halkett
Head of Hockey

Mr Halkett is an ex-professional South African Hockey player who represented his country for over a decade. At various stages in his playing career, he has been vice captain and captain, and has competed at World Cups, Commonwealth Games, and African Continental Championships. He has attended three Olympic games with various teams in different capacities. These include playing for South Africa, as member of the coaching staff for the gold medal winning women's Dutch national team in 2020 Tokyo Games and again in a coaching capacity for the bronze winning India men's team in the 2024 Paris Games.
Mr Ieuan Lewis

Mr Lewis has an abundance of experience, including a Masters in Strength and Conditioning, a UEFA A Licence and an Advanced Youth Award for coaching. His qualifications do not end there, as he also achieved a Post-Graduate Diploma in Elite Coach Development with the Premier League for coach development. Mr Lewis has also had almost a decade worth of experience coaching at Stevenage Football Club Academy, working through the ranks from Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach to Academy Head of Coaching.
Mr Charles Plummer
Head of Fives

Mr Plummer is an avid fan of Fives. Having played for a number of years, he plays weekly fixtures in Division 1 for the Old Millhillian team. He won the EFA Young Player of the Year Award in 2018 and was the U25 National Open Winner for 2023/24. He is currently ranked 14th in the country and made the semi-finals of all four major ranking Fives tournaments in the 2023/24 season.
Ms Sarah Ward

Ms Ward has over 40 years of playing and coaching experience with various clubs, including Radlett and Aston LTC's. Throughout her playing career, Ms Ward has always played to a high standard, becoming a GB National player at U18s which offered the opportunity to play at Wimbledon and Eastbourne. She has travelled and competed overseas in countries such as the US, represented County of Yorkshire and the North East Region at U18 and U21, and competed for the Yorkshire Senior County Ladies and Herts Ladies Veterans at 30, 40 and 50 age groups.
Mr Owen Nicholls

Mr Nicholls brings over a decade of coaching experience with him to Mill Hill. With a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science from the University of Bath, and an MSc in Strength & Conditioning (S&C) from St Mary's University Twickenham, Mr Nicholls is well-equipped to support both wellbeing and ambitious sporting aspirations. His experience doesn't stop there, as he has also coached at the University of Sydney and in French professional rugby, as well as having been the Head of S&C at London Scottish RFC and London Irish Rugby Club.
Ms Ellie Pritchard

Ms Pritchard is our in-house Sports Therapist. Having studied Sport & Exercise Science at Loughborough before getting an MSc at University of Lincoln, Ms Pritchard has gained some fantastic experiences since leaving university. She has interned at Lincoln City FC and was also the first team therapist at Wealdstone FC who play National League. As well as being at Mill Hill, Ms Pritchard is also at Middlesex County Rugby, working for the U16, U18 and Senior Women.
