A Level Results

We are delighted to share this year’s A Level results, which reflect the amazing talent and hard work of our pupils here at Mill Hill.

Half of all grades were A*/A, with the overwhelming majority at A*-B. Nearly 20% of all grades were at the highest level of A*.

University destinations are being finalised, but we expect three-quarters of all leavers to progress to Russell Group institutions. As in previous years, a small number of pupils are heading to Oxbridge or Medical School, as well as leading US universities. In typical Mill Hill style, these academic routes are balanced by several pupils progressing into elite music and arts institutions (RADA and Guildhall School of Music) as well as professional sporting pathways.

Some points to highlight;

  • 19% of all grades were A*
  • 52% were A*/A
  • 84% were A*-B
  • A number of subjects secured 60% or higher A*/A, including English, Drama, Art, Economics, Religious Studies and Computer Science
  • 25% of all grades in Maths were A* (with 54% A or above) latest results.

GCSE Results

We warmly congratulate our Fifth Form pupils on an excellent set of GCSE results announced today, acquitting themselves particularly well within the context of a challenging educational climate; not only have they been impacted by the Pandemic itself, but they have faced unprecedented challenges relating to a Government drive to return to the 2019 benchmark for examination results. We are delighted that over half of the grades awarded were at 9-7 and more than 90% of candidates achieved at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above. A third of all candidates achieved at least five grades at 9 or 8. Our results are above those of 2019 and are a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of our pupils, their teachers and parents.

A full breakdown of results can be found below.
